Kelling

The parish of Kelling is situated on the North Norfolk coast between Weybourne and Salthouse. It was originally an estate village associated with Kelling Hall and the Kelling estate still owns a number of properties in the parish, including the 4-star Pheasant Hotel. It is now an unspoilt conservation village of flint houses along the length of Kelling Street, and an estate of 36 houses at Weynor Gardens which was built as housing for the officers and men at RAF Weybourne and their families, after the war. There are also a few outlying dwellings within the parish boundaries.

Kelling and High Kelling used to share a parish council until 1986 when they opted to split into independent civil parish units. Kelling Parish now has about 150 electors and a parish council of seven members.
